Introduction:
Last week, the esteemed makeup artist, Amanda Robinson uploaded an exciting makeup tutorial showing us how she creates her signature ‘Glowing Goddess’ look. This look emphasizes earthy tones and a radiant glow which accentuates natural beauty. Prepare to be inspired as she shares helpful beauty insights that elevate your makeup application game to a whole new level.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Amanda starts with clean, moisturized skin. She emphasizes the importance of proper skin prepping, stating “a canvas has to be well-prepared to receive paint.”
2. Next, she applies a primer, wearing it for a few minutes before starting the makeup application. The primer she uses gives an illuminating glow underneath the foundation.
3. Amanda takes a light-coverage foundation, spreading it evenly across her face with a damp beauty sponge. She emphasizes that less is more when it comes to a natural glow.
4. She then applies a creamy concealer under her eyes. This helps to brighten her eyes, giving her a youthful and fresh look.
5. Utilizing a cream contouring palette, Amanda creates shadows on her forehead, cheekbones, and jawline.
6. Amanda applies a rosy blush on the apples of her cheeks and sweeps it upwards towards her temples.
7. In a series of quick, confident strokes, she fills in her eyebrows using an angled brow brush.
8. For that ‘Glowing Goddess’ look, she dusts a shimmering highlighter over her cheeks, collar bones, and Cupid’s bow.
Key Tips and Advice:
Mastering the ‘Glowing Goddess’ look entails focusing on enhancing your skin’s natural glow. Using a light-coverage foundation instead of a heavy one allows your real skin to shine through. A creamy concealer strategically applied under the eyes can do wonders for brightening your overall complexion. Lastly, a shimmering highlighter placed strategically can amplify your natural radiance.
Conclusion:
In line with Amanda’s beauty mantra that ‘less is more,’ a key takeaway from this tutorial is the importance of enhancing, rather than hiding, your natural beauty. Embrace your unique features and let your confidence shine through, just as much as your makeup does.
Product and Tool Listing:
1. Moisturizer: Prepares skin for makeup
2. Primer: Creates a smooth and glowing base for foundation
3. Light-coverage foundation: Lets natural skin shine through
4. Creamy Concealer: Brightens the eye area

Thank you very much !
Now it make sense👌
wtf i remember watching this when it came out
Less is more. I’m finally learning. Coming to the realization that I am just too lazy to constantly be checking moisturizers, primers and foundations to make sure that they are all based in the same ingredients (water/oil/silicone). It’s much easier to just use fewer products.
Wow .. Thank you, makes sense !
You should do an updated video on this! I see YouTubers getting this wrong all the time. I refer back to this video from time to time but am still left with some questions. The new video could include: how to tell if your moisturizer/ primer/ foundation is water/ oil/ silicone based (specific names would help for oils and silicone), what to do if the ingredient list has 2 of these ingredients toward the top of the list, examples of GOOD matches and your favorites of each type, and how this works with concealer. (Ex. Does it also need to match? Or how do you make it work? Etc.) I think a lot of people would love this video in more detail, myself included. 🙋♀️
Thank u sir
Hi Wayne, please do a tutorial using dermacol full coverage foundation
I had never given this any thought. Thank you!
who's just looking at this now 😅
Hello there! I saw your video couple of weeks ago and I was paying attention to what you said, but I still have this problem : the foundation easily falls off when it rubs against my glasses. I'm using a setting spray, but not setting powder too (my guess is there are to many layers). I have tried every advice I found, but nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks!
love u a lot Bro!!!! for your all video's.. absolutely a good teacher..

Does anyone know if Laura Mercier tm is silicone or water based?
How about silicone base with water bsed foundation ?
My skin is extremely oily, and I'm almost certain my foundation is water based. No wonder my makeup won't stay on. Thanks.
Very helpful
wow this was insanely helpful, thank you for this video!
can you make a video on which primers and which foundations are water based vs silicone based vs oil based? at least some examples of the popular ones? I really have a lot of make up but my foundation does disappear after 2-3 hrs!
Can I use silicon and oil based makeup together? Like a silicon primer and foundation and then an oil based concealer?
Wow that's genius!! I guess it's really true, LESS IS MORE!!!
if I had to buy either a primer or a makeup fixing spray what should I go for? I have oily skin…
"Howe"

Can you use a oil based concealer with a water based foundation? Didn't mention anything about concealer so I am just making sure.
