Are you ready to paint the town red with your bold, captivating, red lips? This make-up tutorial video about a bold red lip look will guide you to achieve that classic Hollywood-style make-up and steal the spotlight. Get ready to unlock the mystery behind that picture-perfect iconic red pout.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Begin with Exfoliation: The secret behind every bold lip color starts with well-hydrated, smooth lips. Start off by exfoliating your lips with a gentle lip scrub and apply a hydrating lip balm afterwards.

2. Prep Your Lips: After moisturizing, apply a thin layer of concealer or foundation over your lips. This serves as a blank canvas that allows the lipstick color to pop.

3. Line Your Lips: Use a red lip liner that matches your lipstick shade. Start by outlining the cupid’s bow, follow it down to the corners and then fill in the bottom lip.

4. Apply the Lipstick: Get your fav red lipstick, start applying it from the center moving outwards. Do not forget the corners!

5. Clean Up: Use a small flat brush and a tad bit of concealer to clean up any smudges around the lip line.

6. Add Definition: Applying a tiny bit of highlighter on the cupid’s bow of the lips adds a stunning definition.

Key Tips and Advice:

Remember, the key to that magnetic, flawless red lip is patience and precision. Take your time while lining and applying lipstick. At times it can seem challenging, however, practice will make it perfect. The importance of exfoliating and moisturizing before the application cannot be stressed enough. It is a non-negotiable step to achieve smooth and a long-lasting lip makeup.

Alexis you are unbelievably nice and patient with all these commentators telling you your business 🙄 I was told I have an oval face and I see my shape in your face. Thank you for this tutorial. I feel like I finally understand what I need to do. It finally clicked that contour without highlighter doesn't have enough contrast. I am going to be brave and try this out like you showed.

Looks good! Seems like oval shapes don't benefit from contouring as much bc we already hav an ideal shape but I will compare this to just highlighter and blush.

You have an oval face but for some reason you’re describing it as a heart shape. Heart shaped faces are wider at the top and narrow at the bottom, oval is more symmetrical top and bottom… y’know, like an oval shape
