Beginner’s Guide to Applying False Lashes Like a Pro Every Time

Introduction

In this informative and inspiring makeup tutorial, renowned beauty influencer Emily Doe takes us on a step-by-step journey to achieve the perfect ‘daytime soft glam’ look. The video is packed with expert tips, tricks, and techniques that make it easier to get that flawless daytime look even if you are a beginner. Emily shares her secrets on how to blend colours perfectly, shape your eyebrows, and pick the right lipstick to make your look pop.

Step-by-Step Guide

Emily starts off by sharing the importance of skincare before jumping onto makeup. She gently cleanses her face with a soft cleansing milk followed by a hydrating moisturizer. According to Emily, keeping your skin hydrated allows makeup to settle better and last longer.

Moving on to foundation, she recommends applying with a damp sponge for an even application. The foundation she uses has a lightweight feel, providing a smooth canvas for her to layer on the rest of her makeup products.

Her eyes are the focus of this look. She uses a combination of neutral matte and shimmer eyeshadows for her eyelids. She demonstrates the ‘tap and blend’ method where she taps the product onto her eyelids and then blends the edges to create a seamless look.

Key Tips and Advice

One of the major tips Emily emphasizes is ensuring your eyebrow shape matches your face shape. She demonstrated how to use an eyebrow pencil to subtly enhance the natural arch of the brows, providing a striking frame for the face.

Another tip that Emily insists on is choosing the right lipstick. For a daytime soft glam look, she suggests a soft mauve or peach shade; these colors are subtle, yet they add a touch of glamour to the look.

Conclusion

Emily’s tutorial offers intriguing revelations on the importance of technique alongside quality makeup products. Her emphasis is on enhancing natural beauty rather than altering it, which aligns with the essence of daytime makeup.

She ends the tutorial with a note of encouragement, reminding viewers that makeup is an art and everyone has their unique style. The most important thing is to enjoy the process and be confident in whatever makeup styles they choose.

Product and Tool Listing

Skincare: Cleansing Milk (to cleanse the skin), Hydrating Moisturizer (to prep the skin)

Emily’s tutorial seamlessly merges the notions of beauty, creativity, and individuality, urging us all to embrace our unique features. This effectively transforms the process of makeup application from a daily routine into a powerful means of self-expression.

    Thank You ❣️
I’m 61, have never used false eye lashes and although (so I’ve been told pretty consistently, that I do look about 15 years younger than my age but idk) I Think I’m aging I guess well. I have fine hair equally fine thin lashes, as well as, of recent months have noticed … how did your put it…
Oh yes a hooded eye lid. ( that’s an adorable way to phrase what I Call A Sagging’ish eye lid_, hooded eye I like much better lol)

Anyway I’ve been leaning towards the idea of false lashes but don’t want look foolish wearing them. Ive gotten 2 different types of lashes flirting with the idea of wearing them. Have also attempted applying them wo the glue simply to see how they’d look to get used to the ides and see if they would look natural on me.

I had sone hiccups of course but you addressed and surely helped me by showing me some very good tips. THANK YOU FOR THAT❣️
Vert much appreciated, and i will try yet again. Wish me luck and I’ll Swnd a comment in my results.

Also I have warched a few videos which were although helpful yes, l just didn’t really address a mature woman’s natural aging process with helpful tips. You did Thank You Again For Addressing info Re Those Points❤️!

I look forward to seeing any other videos re make up etc you have, I thought your make was a very good & natural looking style too.
    You Be well.
    Thank You Again❣️
    Very Sincerely,

Fun Fact I learned regarding magnified mirrors (I had one that actually had instructions w/ it) It said to firstly find the area you are wanting to be magnified on face, look in mirror until you find the clearest vision of area, once you have found the clarity of area desired, you can slowly back away from mirror while visually maintaining same spot, and it will magnify even more with no loss of clarity, takes some practice , but it worked💯

All of these lashes are beautiful and I don't want to sound like a freak and I am and certainly no way trying to be offensive, the Vegas ones made your eyes look like high school cheerleader eyes. I thought they were very beautiful. Like they made me say whoa out loud

Hi Risa! I'm 54 years wise. I have been through some difficult times and put myself on hold. I stopped self care and have not felt the best about myself. My Grandma always taught me if look better you feel better. So this year I have decided to put me first. I have been watching many many videos. I sorted out old colors and types of the routines. I have replaced with highly recommended for mature skin. I have never used false lashes in my life. I bought a less expensive type to practice with. Is it the same routine as you showed in the video? Also once I invest in higher quality, how many times can you reuse them before replacing with a new set? Thank you for your time and I really appreciate the detailed master classes you show! I'm learning so much!❤❤❤

This is the first time I have watched your Beauty show. I fond it t be very iteresting and educationa. I havejust started ring to wearblashes and i have a hard time putting them on. I too have very blonde lashes and it was such a problem getting the very base of my own lashes covered with mascara. I am 63 and also have hooded eyes and very dark circles. Do u have any concealer that is good to cover dark circles. Seems like i just believe what u use to be very good because u look very beautiful. I hope i can look prettier wearing your lashes. Great work!! I always have a terrible time getting lashes trimmed yhe right size because i tried to do it while still holding lash and couldnt see the amount to trim. Usually trimmed too short . Thanks for letting me know just to lay thrle lashes on top of my own and remove hand
    😊

Risa. I just discovered your channel!! I love your content. I’m 53 and once loved wearing makeup. Over the years I have slowly stopped. You have inspired me to start practicing for my age. I’m so excited to use your techniques. And I’m putting in an order for the Martini lashes!!! So excited. ❤

Thanks for the video! I ordered the Martini and wore them yesterday. Took me a long time to get them 'just right" ( I always struggle with false eyelashes, I don't wear them often) Once i had them placed, I love them!!!! Hopefully next time I wear them it will be easier after watching this video! Thanks again!!!

Thank you so much! I am 55 years old and have never worn false lashes. My husband of 33 years passed away in 2021. My love for him will never die, but I am recently considering my future self and how I want to present myself to the world. Your tutorials are giving me confidence to try to get out into the world again, and present a fresh face.

The tip about waiting for the glue to set is the THE ONE most important thing. You can hold it in front of your magnifying mirror and watch for the glue to change from wet looking to matte texture. Then just plop them down and they will grab. Practice at a time when you aren't going out and you have time to practice. I wear my Kiss Wispy lashes every day. They are so pretty and natural looking. Thanks for this great video!❤

I’m 62 and wear glasses. I want my eyes to pop and used to be fine with just mascara (L’Oreal Voluminous has been my go-to forever). But as I’ve gotten older my lashes have thinned. I tried flash lashes a few years ago-once-but got frustrated and threw them away. Thanks to this in-depth video I’m going to try them again. Thank you for the excellent instruction! Hoping they work and I’m looking forward to trying your new line!

I have a terrible time with band lashes. They just won't stay on my eyes regardless of type, adhesive or technique. Even Wayne Goss couldn't make them stick on. I think I may have weirdly shaped eyes and I also have very few lashes on the outer edge which means the end of the band has nowhere to stick. I use individuals which work quite well but can only use the shorts because anything longer just drops straight off my eye.
