Introduction:
Welcome to a riveting exploration of a makeup tutorial by our favorite YouTube beauty guru! The video provides an enlightening perspective on achieving the stunningly elusive “No Makeup” makeup look, which is all about enhancing your natural features rather than cloaking them.
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Priming: The first stage of creating a ‘No Makeup’ look involves application of a pore-minimizing primer. This is crucial in providing a smooth canvas for makeup and ensuring longevity of the look.
2. Foundation: Apply a light-medium coverage foundation, or even a BB cream to give a light, skin-like finish. Our beauty guru uses a damp beauty blender for a naturally flawless application.
3. Concealer: Use a liquid concealer with a creamy formula to conceal any discoloration or imperfections. A trick is to use a minimalist approach and only apply where necessary.
4. Setting: A transparent, loose setting powder is lightly dusted all over the face to set the makeup without looking cakey or artificial.
5. Eyes and Brows: A soft, brown eyeshadow is used for the eyes, and brow gel to fill in and set the eyebrows into place.
6. Lips and Cheeks: Lastly, a lip and cheek tint is used for a gentle flush, providing a fresh, ‘just-pinched’ look.
Key Tips and Advice:
One of the most impactful tips provided in the video is to always strive for balance. Heavy makeup is not essential to look beautiful – instead, it’s about enhancing your natural beauty. Another tip is to not overdo the base makeup. Keep it light and skin-like. Building your makeup in light layers also helps avoid a cakey look.
Conclusion:
The main message of this video tutorial is clear: less is definitely more when it comes to a ‘No Makeup’ look. It’s not about masking your natural features but enhancing them. So, experiment with this minimalist approach to makeup and discover your unique natural beauty.
Product and Tool Listing:
1. Primer: XYZ Primer for pore-minimizing and skin smoothing.
2. Foundation: ABC Foundation for a light natural coverage.
3. Concealer: UVW Concealer for covering imperfections.
4. Powder: GHI Loose Setting Powder for a non-cakey finish.
5. Eyeshadow: Brown Eyeshadow from the LMN palette for a natural look.

Thank you so much! This has been the most informative video on this topic. You’ve truly broken things down in an understandable way. I’ve learned more here than in the countless tutorials I’ve watched.
I'm new to the channel so I apologize if you've already done this, but could you suggest a few good products for super sensitive skin? I have rosecea so I react to everything including sensitive skin products. Going into a cosmetics store is actually quite stressful for me.
You're a genius
Thanks girl! Needed to know this especially the powder thing. I will keep using it in my under eye area but I’ve found when I put it on my chin, upper lip, it will cake off
You are amazing love your videos ❤️😘💋
I'M SO GLAD you said this about baking!!! I keep trying it and i get so frustrated! I can't figure out why I can't make it work. It makes my fine lines look like deep wrinkles and makes my face look dull and dry. I'm throwing that Huda shiznit in the trash!!!!
VERY HELPFUL, well explained tutorial! Thank you!
What would you recommend for sensitive skin that in combination (a bit oily in places, but not overtly oily like when i was younger). I'm 43 with fine lines and discoloration. Please & THANK YOU!!!
This was SO helpful! Thanks so much.
Just happened to come across your youtube channel. Thank you for sharing! You just gave this 54 yr old woman some great information! I battle with dry skin and broken red capillaries on face and neck. I have a better understanding on face care and makeup to look for.
Many thanks for the information!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so very much! You’ve helped me relearn my skin. I have combination, dry , patchy flakey skin, with hyperpigmentation from lupus, and it’s very acne prone sensetive which can make things very difficult to work with. But your videos have been very informative and helpful to me
Good vid🎉
I do not have oily or dry skin. I do, however, have mature, textured skin at 60 yoa with large pores. What combination primer and foundation is best for me?
Ok. Too much. Could’ve been shorter.
Oily? Use this
Patchy foundation? Use this
Dry? Use this

Thank you for this Marlena! I'm new to your channel. This is VERY helpful for someone like me who knows very little about makeup. I would really appreciate it if you could make a video about the best products and techniques for ance-prone combo skin. Love your videos! Thank you!!
I have massively dry skin and red patches.. ive been using a cream foundation ment for stage acting as its full coverage and it only ever looks patchy when my sponge is too wet or I’m too heavy handed with setting powder. I’ve found less is more sometimes
What is best foundation amd routine for eczema prone skin please

No one gives us the how and why like you do Marlena!! I am so happy to see new content from you.🥰
Any sort of tutorials like this for someone on a college budget? I'd love to get started on a makeup/skincare routine but a budget of $100-150 is pretty slim pickings.
What moisturizer would you use with silicone based foundation and primer? Can you give any recommendations?
Thank you!!!!! I suffer from cakey makeup at times, so I really appreciate the tips!!!!!
these are such good tips thank you!!!
Wow, I just found your channel and this was the most educational makeup video I've seen! Your makeup looks soooo flawless! Thanks for sharing!
I remember you from MG days and I’ve loved you ever since !! This was so helpful and I’m going to apply these to my routine and hopefully they will help.. you’re still so beautiful Marlena ❤😍
This was the best tutorial ever ❤
Very good, informative👍🏼😁
Why does my foundation feel sticky??
I needed this video so much 😭 thank you
Thank you!!!!!!!!!❤
Thankyou soo much! It really helps! I figure out some of my mistakes. I will make the changes
it looks like that soon as i put it on & honestly not until this new ELF compact I got- I have used it before but I think they changed the formula…
I'm wondering if you could do a tutorial about foundation for combination and dry skin? I still have not found a good foundation for my skin.
I've been watching UR videos for long time… You are great at what U do! 😍😊
I guess you apply sunscreen before the primer then??
Would love Intel for non silicone based foundations that provide a satin finish. I've discovered that I'm allergic to silicone but I've really struggled to find a foundation that works for my skin that doesn't contain silicone.
So, my skin is acne prone and oily. Should I use thick or thin viscosity formula ?
