Im 62 and a Makeup Artist and worked in cosmetics stores and have tried everything! I have worn Shiseido Moisture Mist Pancake Foundation that is applied with a wet sponge since I was 16 but it has been discontinued. 😢I’ve always looked younger than my age and I believe it was the zinc in the product that protected me from the sun.
I find liquid foundations messy and slippery and powder too drying.
I won’t wear lipstick anymore as it highlights my ‘smokers lines’ …Everybody smoked in the 70s but I gave up 8 years ago- the damage was done.
So I focus on my eyes and wear a nude lipgloss …
I have so many tubes and bottles of foundation it’s become ridiculous.
I’m so glad I decided to search for best makeup for over 60s… of course I worked with mature women in my wedding parties so I understand that less is more but I do prefer a decent coverage… I’m going to continue watching this channel as I’ve already learned something.
    One question though?
When you say add a drop of facial oil into your foundation do you mean one drop into the bottle or one drop into the amount you wear daily?

You're facial skin is in a lot better shape than most of us "natural" 51yr old women. Without the Botox and fillers, it's almost impossible to find a foundation that doesn't sink into the lines and wrinkles that we have.

I will not use any L'Oreal products as they TEST ON ANIMALS and the cruelty is abhorrent!

This was FUN to watch! By far the prettiest and "silkiest" looking foundation for your skin from my angle would be the "IT" cosmetics/ "Your skin but better" and I can't wait to try this good, silky, med. finish foundation. Thanks for this review!

Every liquid foundation I have tried, including those you're testing, when applied with either a brush or a sponge, land and settle in every single pore on my face so I look like I have tiny dots of foundation all over, it's horrible. And they all settle into crows feet, under eye, and forehead lines.

My problem is that at 75 my skin as as oily as when I was 16. Most foundations are too moisturized for me.

at 75 I love the mature foundation reviews. I am hard to match and like a kind of glow and not matte look.

Hello Dominique, I find your videos so inspiring and positive, you are such a beauty. I live in UK, and have immediately tried to seek how to purchase many of the foundations that you show. Unfortunately it seems quite a few now appear to have been discontinued (L'Oreal, Urban Decay, and IT cosmetics). I'm gutted. Please – Would you be able to do an updated video with suggestions for those currently on the market? Thank you 🥰

I love your videos. I learn so much from you. I am 77 and love to see how to hide the wrinkles. I have been blessed with good jeans and very few wrinkles. You could use me for a model make over.

Thanks so much for this!! I just turned 40 and my skin is starting to change. I was starting to have issues with my normal foundation. And now, thanks to you and your washing your face ‘off’ lol I can look around for some new foundation with confidence!! Hope you’re having a fantastic day! Take care! 😊
