Introduction:
Step into the world of glamour as we dissect the ultimate guide to creating a bold, smoky-eye look from an enchanting YouTube beauty tutorial. This mystifying, heavy-shadow eye makeup is quintessential for an evening out, date nights or simply flaunting your artistic prowess. Brace yourselves for some intriguing makeup tactics and beauty tips that will significantly amplify your makeup game.

Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Start with a clean face. Apply a high-quality moisturizer to hydrate your skin and prepare it for makeup application.
2. Apply a primer to increase your makeup’s longevity. Ensure your eyelids are covered, as the eyes will be the highlight of this look.
3. Once primed, apply a liquid foundation that matches your skin tone perfectly. Blend it evenly using a makeup sponge.
4. Following this, address your eyebrows. Fill in with a brow pencil, shaping them to better frame your face.
5. The spotlight now shifts to the eyelids. Use an eyeshadow primer to ensure the pigment stays put. Next, apply a neutral brown eyeshadow as the base to map out your smoky eye.
6. Deepen the outer corner with a darker eyeshadow color, gradually blending it inward. Next, apply a black eyeshadow, concentrating on the very edge of the eye, moving slowly towards the center without reaching it.
7. Now it’s time to add sparkle. Apply a glittery silver eyeshadow to the middle of your eyelid transitioning to the inner corner.
8. Once complete, use an eyeliner to line your top lid, extending it to a wing for a dramatic effect.
9. Finish with a volumizing mascara and false lashes, if desired.

Key Tips and Advice:
The secret behind a perfect smoky eye lies in blending; ensure your colors transition smoothly from one to another without harsh lines. A darker shade at the outer corner of the eye can create depth and an illusion of bigger eyes. A touch of shimmer in the center captivates attention while making your eyes pop. Lastly, to avoid any eyeshadow fallout ruining your base makeup, consider doing your eye makeup first.

Conclusion:
The beauty tutorial succeeds in demystifying the misconceptions around achieving the perfect smoky eye. With clear instructions and practical advice, the allure of the smoky eye becomes accessible to every makeup enthusiast. Exploration and practice are at the core of perfecting this intense, seductive look.

Smooth and Engaging Flow:
Though make-up application may seem overwhelming, our breakdown of the tutorial provides a comprehensible guide, easing you into each step. Every paragraph seamlessly segues into the next, maintaining your curiosity whilst dishing informative content.

Product and Tool Listing:
For this look, you will need; a hydrating moisturizer (prepares your skin), primer (anchors makeup), liquid foundation (evens skin tone), makeup sponge (for blending), brow pencil (frames face), eyeshadow primer (retains pigment), eyeshadow palette (provides colors for the smoky eye: neutral brown, darker hue, black, and glittery silver). You will also need an eyeliner, volumizing mascara, and (optional) false lashes for the finishing touches.

In conclusion, enhancing one’s makeup skills requires passion, creativity, and a touch of bravery. We hope this step-by-step guide to creating a smoky eye inspires makeup enthusiasts to step out of their comfort zones and explore exciting new trends.

I understand you apply it to different lacwes on our face. It was just so much money and i hate to just leave it there. Pleas help if you can.

I don't use the Palmer's oil because it's scented. What I use instead is the Neutrogena body oil in the fragrance free version. If you can't find it in stores, you can easily order it from Walmart. I couldn't find it on the Target website, but Idk, it may be available in stores. I use it after I shower, especially on my back, which gets 'very' dry in the winter. I usually go through 1 1/2 bottles in the winter; it doesn't take much.

It's also a good bath oil, but be careful because it does make the tub slippery.

I used to use the Alpha Keri (scented) bath oil on my body, and as a bath oil, but then I discovered the unscented Neutrogena product!

Great video! I use Neutrogena Sesame Body Oil after showering then wrap up and let it soak in while going through my facial routine. I finish with Amlactin lotioning all over – the 12% lactic acid increases cell turnover and helps eliminate accumulated dead skin cells on the top layer of skin. This has been a routine for more than 40 years and I was pleased to see your reminder that skin dryness over a lifetime takes its toll from head to toe, not just on our faces. Thanks Dominique!

Love your videos. It be great if you could show us makeup routine with less products. If I had to travel and take the many items just to look fresh and tan, not only will I go broke but it's too much to carry. I wonder if we need this many products to look great.

Do you have a nightime skincare routine like this one for dry sensitive skin. Also can you recommend a good face moisturizer for dry sensitive skin that isn't quite so expensive.

I love to self-tan & I use your brand. I love it the first day but the 2nd & 3nd day I begin to look rusty & orangy! (Light Orange) Why does this happen? Would dry skin cause this??
I always have dry skin but I do exfoliate & moisturize before I self-tan. HELP!

I wonder if a touch more niacinamide than the serum you use offers would help you with retin a sensitivity. Perhaps a PHA over glycolic as a swap up ? X

Dominque – question: if there is no expiry date on a facial cream how can you determine that it's no longer good? my only thought would be maybe a rancid smell (?) what are your thoughts on this and have other ladies had the same question at some point

Hi Dominique! ๐Ÿ™‚ I love your channel for so many reasons, but thank you for just being a positive light *ALWAYS*! You asked for some ideas for future videos – maybe one showing a 'Sping' makeup look (I am SO ready for the season to change!), a multitasking products video (a quick look for hectic mornings), or maybe ways to fit self-care into your day/night as a busy woman? I would love a long bubble bath, but most nights my small children require my attention. Bless you and all you do. You always look radiant! ๐Ÿ™‚
