Introduction:

The video analyzed is a captivating beauty tutorial focused on ushering viewers into the mesmerizing realm of smokey eye makeup techniques. The YouTuber shares valuable insights on how to achieve a flawless smokey eye look that is both striking and wearable, irrespective of the occasion. From selecting the right palette to understanding unique blending techniques, the tutorial covers an array of essential aspects every makeup enthusiast will benefit from.

Step-by-Step Guide:

The video begins with choosing the right eyeshadow palette. Opt for palettes with colors that complement your skin tone and eye color.

The first step is priming the lids. The primer acts as a base, ensuring the eyeshadow adheres better and stays on for longer.

Next, she applies a neutral brown shade over the entire eyelid as a transition color. Through a wind-wiper motion, she blends the color softly, diffusing it towards the brow bone.

Then, she proceeds to apply a darker brown shade to the outer corner, creating depth and dimension. She uses a smaller brush to drag this color into her crease, keeping it concentrated on the outer corner.

Finally, she adds a black shadow, blending it inwards from the outer corner for more intensity. Not neglecting the bottom lash line, she mirrors the same shades as used on the top.

Key Tips and Advice:

The video highlights the importance of blending for a seamless transition between shades. The YouTuber advises using brushes of different sizes for precision and blending out harsh lines.

She emphasizes the significance of gradually darkening the shades for a more realistic gradient effect.

She also warns against overloading brushes with product, suggesting that less is more when it comes to a soft, smokey eye effect.

Conclusion:

Throughout the video, the repeated theme is practicing patience and precision, which are keys to achieving the perfect smokey eye. The YouTuber encourages viewers to practice new techniques and not be discouraged by perceived ‘mistakes.’ Instead, they should perceive them as learning platforms on the path to mastering the smokey eye.

Product and Tool Listing:

1. Eyeshadow Primer: To increase the longevity and vibrancy of the eyeshadow.

    I’m actually kinda mad lol
I was told never to do this with lash glue, always put it on the lash band. I could never get them on that way and gave up wearing falsies all together.
I saw this short and just decided to try it this way once AND I NAILED IT! All this time, and it could’ve been so much easier.

How do you safely remove them

  • Posted April 14, 2024 11:12 am
    by @missnurseeri

I learned in high school that it is WAY better to put the glue DIRECTLY on the lid. Body heat makes the glue tacky faster and the lashes adheres more quickly.
