Tutorial Review: Achieving the Sun-Kissed Glow Look
Introduction
The digital era is increasingly being tapped for infinite beauty resources. One such tutorial for a quick, easy, and stunning makeup look is the “Sun-Kissed Glow Makeup Tutorial.” If seeking to add a vibrant yet natural touch to your beauty regimen, this video holds the perfect guide. It adroitly walks you through achieving that radiant, sun-kissed glow that gives your skin the warm aura of a day spent at the beach.
Step-by-Step Guide
The tutorial begins with a step by step guide on prepping the skin. A thoroughly cleansed, toned, and moisturized skin forms the base upon which the look is created. Next is the application of a light layer of primer to ensure longer-lasting makeup. The key to this look is the foundation application; opt for a liquid formula for a skin-like texture. Apply the foundation with a brush or a blending sponge, remembering to blend seamlessly into the neck.
The eyebrow routine is essential. The video recommends using a soft brown eyebrow powder to fill in and a brush to shape the brows for a natural finish. The eyes are kept simple; a warm, bronzy eyeshadow is applied over the lids and under the lash line. The mascara should be voluminous and waterproof for a long-lasting effect.
The piecè de résistance of this look is the bronzer; sweep it across the high points of the face – cheekbones, forehead, and bridge of the nose, where the sun would naturally hit. A peachy-pink blush is added to the apples of the cheeks, and a strobe cream provides the sought-after glow. A swipe of a nude, glossy lip completes the look.
Key Tips and Advice
The video emphasizes the crucial role a good primer plays in not just extending the makeup’s longevity but also in achieving a smoother application. The importance of picking the right tones for a natural look is also highlighted- soft browns for brows, peachy pinks for cheeks, and nude shades for the lips. Most importantly, blending is paramount for a seamless finish.
Conclusion
The video ingrains the message that achieving a sun-kissed look doesn’t require a product-heavy regimen. With the right technique and selective application, you can create a stunning, naturally radiant look all year round. It encourages viewers to adapt and customize these techniques per their skin tones and preferences.
Smooth and Engaging Flow
Flowing seamlessly between steps, the video maintains an engaging pace. Each step is explained in detail and demonstrated simultaneously, helping viewers understand and replicate the look efficiently.

You have beautiful lashes. No need to wear falsies💖
Loving this look, need to try it 🥰
Thanks for this, Shonagh! I did a similar look last week for a concert night and I was definitely guilty of applying way too much black base ahaha
When I realized it wasn't gonna be a soft smoky eye, I went all in and applied a turquoise shimmer shadow on top of the cream and white multireflects glitters.
I received so many compliments on the look, but again, not what I had originally planned to do 😂
Will this work for hooded eyes?
Thank you for this tutorial, especially for using the arrows!! It really helped. Loved how simple this look is to achieve. Thanks again ☺
Love this Shonagh – thank you!

That's lovely, but I can see me getting into a right royal mess with a black cream shadow. I'll have a go when I'm staying at home all day 😃.
This is gorgeous! Your instructions are the best !
Can I use a wing shaped eyeliner with this look, or do you think that might be too much?
