Enhancing Your Features: Contouring Techniques for Different Face Shapes – Part 3

INTRODUCTION

“The Power of Makeup Highlighted in an Exceptional Tutorial” is a captivating YouTube video centering on beauty and makeup artistry. This makeup tutorial presents exceptional insights into skin preparation and makeup application, with a unique emphasis on creativity and personal expression. Expect to be enthralled as the YouTube creator delves into the transformative power of makeup, showcasing the impact of various techniques used in achieving different looks.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

The video begins with essential skincare preparation. Keeping the skin clean, moisturized, and primed is fundamental, as it sets the terrain for seamless makeup application. The makeup artist uses a gentle cleanser, a hydrating moisturizer, and a smoothing primer to create a flawless canvas for makeup.

Next, the artist illustrates the importance of a perfectly matched foundation. It is crucial to test a few shades on the jawline to find the ideal match. Once the foundation is evenly applied using a beauty blender, the makeup artist shares a creative approach – using concealer not just for concealing blemishes or under-eye circles, but also for highlighting the high points of the face.

The tutorial also includes invaluable advice on applying contour, blush, and highlighter. The artist crafts a technique of blending these products elegantly, leading to a more refined and radiant look.

KEY TIPS AND ADVICE

One key advice from this tutorial is experimentation, specifically with colors and textures. For instance, the artist encourages the use of metallic eyeshadows and bold lip colors. Notably, choosing the correct brush for eyeshadow blending can elevate the final makeup look – a trick not known to many.

CONCLUSION

The overall theme in this tutorial is the transformative power of makeup – how it can enhance natural beauty and cultivate artistic expression. The video creator nurtures this belief, urging viewers to experiment with new techniques and makeup products. Makeup, as portrayed here, is not just an art form but a medium of self-expression and confidence-boosting.

PRODUCT AND TOOL LISTING

The tutorial uses a variety of makeup products and tools:

1. Primer: A smoothing, pore-minimizing primer that prepares the skin for foundation.
2. Foundation: A medium to full coverage product, perfectly matched to the skin tone.
3. Concealer: A high coverage product used to conceal and highlight.
4. Contour, Blush, and Highlighter: Products that add dimension, color, and glow to the face.
5. Eyeshadows: Variety of shades with metallic and matte finishes.
6. Lip products: A vibrant, bold lip color that complements the eye makeup.

This article aims to provide a comprehensive rundown of the video’s content in an engaging and informative piece. Armed with these tips, readers are encouraged to explore new techniques, inject creativity into their makeup routines, and redefine their understanding of beauty.

I can't decide if I'm oval or round. What is your shape? If you're round then I am oval. So confused.

    by @anjalisingh-bh1gi

Face a bit wider than oval
    Chin round
    Jawline small
Cheekbone wider than oval it doesn't create that hollow effect like you said, pretty much like yours!
    Forehead narrow
    Hairline heart shape
    Cheekbone structure not prominent
(Two of these features are quite a revelation to me and i am in utter shock, i used to think that my face was oval but things are not that black and white)
