Excellent tutorial. The demo really made it all clear! TY!
Hi there, I have a question I'm hoping you'd be so kind to answer. I'm a cool toned gal, I have always been good w/make-up BUT not liquid foundation/concealer bc I've only ever worn some sort of power. Still at 45 I'm able to just pull off supergoops mineral powder sunscreen. Now for my question/concern… I do get the undertone thing however I have some pretty significant dark under eyes (actually it's the hollows) I can not seem to find a good match for concealer. (I've tried so many, high-end & drugstore) it always seems to look somewhat "whitish" bc I'm cool toned I buy cool toned concealer also I know I should be looking for something pinkish/salmon in color. My darkness is bluish/purple but I just read somewhere last nite that It's best to use warm toned concealer to avoid the "whitish ghostly under eye look I've referred to) So should I be trying a warm or neutral toned concealer or do I stick with some cool toned color? Praying I find my match 1 day…… plz & thank you
Very helpful. Thank you. Have bought two foundations from
Same
Supplier on line and still not right. Look like I am bright orange. X
OMG Gemma, all of this is precious advice! I'm saving this video for future reference!
TY that was an amazing demonstration – matching with no makeup on. I probably would have doubted it if I hadn't seen it myself. Next time I go buy foundation – clean face!
So SMART
I think they say a whole kettle of fish in most of the UK, we say it in Wales.
Thank you sooo much!! This has been extremely helpful.
It is news to me that we can take opened products here in the US. I like youe idea of samples.
How do you know what undertones the foundations have? Sounds so silly but I’ve seen lots of videos about what undertone your skin is, but I don’t understand what this means when it comes to looking for foundation – lol!
My problem is I'm extra light olive they don't make shades for that so warm orange cool hot pink neutral peach and it totally oxides on me. I'm warm undertone with tendency for olive skin
🤣I’ve done it to ….
Wow…just watched your under tone and this shade finder video as I've been going through your library Gemma… it finally all makes sense lol. After all these years I finally am confident in my under tone and how to find my correct shade….thank you 😊 💓
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wonderful video! You are spot on 👍🏼
Extremely helpful, thank you. I’ve been struggling with concealer shades recently as I switch up my foundation a lot.
Awesome video. Extremely helpful.
I have pink skin tone & it seems like everything is either yellow or orange. I have ruddy skin down my neck & chest, plus my face. When I have someone in the store to help me they always want to put yellow on my face.
🙋
I'm in America and I knew what you meant by the "kettle of fish."
Very helpful video. Thanks!
Brilliant advice thankyou x
I have cool skin 😎 undertone 🥰
Yeah there’s no way to get samples in the drugstore so there’s got to be another way to do it and you’re right the lighting there’s terrible because most of the time it’s fluorescent lighting so there’s got to be a better way for us to try to figure out what to get in the drugstore getting it in the drug stores like Russian roulette you don’t know until you get home and then you spent the money on it because there’s no possible way to test it
Great video! Thank you very much
Thank you for sharing another very informative video. I've just watched the undertone video you done and you said in that one that you're a warm undertone, but in this one you said you're a neutral undertone. Have I misheard or can you be both ? Sorry for the daft questions too 🙈 ❤
