Introduction
Have you ever found yourself lingering on the soft, vibrant hues of a sunset and wished you could capture its ethereal beauty in your makeup look? If so, you’re in luck! In her latest YouTube makeup tutorial, the renowned beauty guru, Jane Roe, skillfully demonstrates a perfect step-by-step guide to creating a stunning sunset-inspired eye look. It’s high time we delve into the insightful tips and trade secrets woven into this transformative eye makeup tutorial.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preparation: Jane starts by gently cleansing and moisturizing her face to provide a smooth canvas for further makeup application. This primary step is crucial for any makeup look as it promotes absorption of the product and ensures longevity.
2. Base Makeup: Jane applies a light-coverage foundation, followed by a concealer under her eyes and on any blemishes. A fluffy blending brush is used for a seamless blend.
3. Eye Makeup: At this juncture is where the sunset magic happens. Jane begins with a pastel peach eyeshadow on her crease, blending it gently to mimic the early sunset colors. A vibrant burnt orange shade is added to accentuate the crease, followed by a dark burgundy applied on the outer lid to deepen the look. A shimmery golden hue is then added on the center of the lid, capturing the essence of a glowing sunset.
4. Finishing touches: To complete the look, Jane uses a soft pink blush on her cheekbones and a highlighter at the highest points for a sun-kissed effect, with a nude lip color to keep the focus on the eyes.
Key Tips and Advice
Jane emphasizes the importance of blending while doing eye makeup, insisting it’s the element of ‘make or break’ in crafting a perfect sunset effect. She also suggests experimenting with different shades and textures, using both matte and shimmer eyeshadows. For a more dramatic effect, one can opt for falsies or a generous coating of volumizing mascara.
Conclusion
The essence of Jane’s video is the appreciable beauty in a sunset, which she articulately captures in her eye makeup look. This tutorial underscores the transformative power of makeup, its ability to morph nature’s beauty into a wearable art form. It’s an open invitation to makeup enthusiasts to challenge boundaries, experiment with colors in their palettes, and create magic.

Why the fuck I need to contour my face. Let me be natural. Makeup is hard and I don’t Even name the instrument even in my late 20s. Just accept me the way I am as I am not going to bed with makeup on. 😕
On camera its stunning so it might look good if u keep doing it in ur videos but irl, itll look heavy and unnatural. But some people prefer looking heavy makeup and unnatural so do you
What was the name of the contour brush please
You look ideotic
It make face look longer down no shade such think about if u want
Ohh my gosh this is million dollars hack still do a detailed tutorial on this also wanna say one thing that this already has that sculpted cheeks anyways I mean she doesn't have baby face type atleast. But this technique just enhanced it
I love it!
I don’t like the way this looks. It looks like there is a weird skin crease in your face that isn’t supposed to be there.
the best contour ive done thank u
You don't have baby face. I do, it's basically from grinding my teeth not fat. They offered me Botox there and I said nah. I'm just gonna contour this. And honestly I don't care for a skinny face anyways/ it's all about high cheekbones, not making yourself slim.
Nothing wrong with a baby face
I think it looks great
2:55 ❗️❗️❗️❤ u are 100 here man. I was a drug addict for 17 years and the ONLY thing that worked was inpatient therapy.I did 58 days. Been clean ever since and life is 80 squillion times better than ever.
I actually don't like it. It seems to draw a lot attention to the sides of the bottom of the face, and down which are parts that are normally contoured so they look smaller
On you, I personally prefer your normal technique. It looks so much more fresh.
It perfectly fakes the loss of the buccal fat pad. If this is your goal, this is your
hackcontour placement.Wow❤😂
It does look cool. But u don't even need a contour as you bone structure is contoured
I like it!
Double contouring
…it just makes you look older and more harsh. Your natural face without contouring is much prettier.
People that do make up tutorials who ALREADY HAVE ON MAKE UP…… smh…garbage
Please post product links for your video. It’s frustrating watching the technique without using the same products. I rather search for videos that make it easier for us.
I don’t like the side with the 2 lines it’s legit giving a man’s shaped jawline
Now maybe if a person’s face is shaped differently or other factors then okay
It just doesn’t look right
Trust we’re not seeing VS models looking like this
A lot of these trends come from the drag community and it’s all good
However it’s men trying to look feminine and we have women who are copying it and it’s not for us lol
It’s makeup at the end of the day do you
But from the side it will just look like a dirty mark on your face😂
You have a completely different face shape though than her
Looks great!
If you have stretch marks so what you used on your stretch marks please tell the product with the name
How did I end up here, what the hell youtube. I ain't interested in hoes painting their faces like a picture
The way her face looks after the contour is the way my face naturally looks, and I always thought it was really ugly. It makes me happy that apparently girls want their face to look like that.
Super ❤
Wow
When you pause to compare the difference, the new technique legitimately gives the illusion of a double chin on you where there isn't one on the other side with your normal technique.
It makes it look like the "sucked in" part you mention is holding back face fat, sort of like a corset would, like the front is tight but the back is bulging. It's not a good technique for your face.
You're really talented and pretty though! Thanks for sharing! ❤ It's obviously an affective technique that surely works for some faces.
So how to gget the Joker mouth?🤨
You have perfect face shape. She has to as she has a full, heavy face
It was for people who have baby faces not people who already have contoured features😂
Perfection!
You missed the rest of the contour that she did! You only did one part
Ahh the lower line just gave you what we call as an age dimple😊
What you use for countour ❤
