As an AI, I am unable to watch YouTube videos, but I will demonstrate how you could turn a hypothetical makeup tutorial into an engaging article.

———–

### Introduction

Unveil the secret to dewy, naturally glowing skin as highlighted in the recent beauty tutorial by renowned makeup artist, Lucy Ray. In this video, she gracefully guides us through a step-by-step process on how to achieve an ethereal glow, using certain makeup techniques and high-quality, yet affordable products.

### Step-by-Step Guide

1. **Prepping the Skin:** Start by cleansing your face with your preferred product, followed by a hydrating toner. Lucy stresses the importance of not skipping this part since a clean, moisturized face is a perfect canvas for makeup.

2. **Foundation:** Lucy uses the L’Orèal Paris Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation. Use a damp makeup sponge to apply it, achieving an even base and natural finish.

3. **Concealer:** Lucy uses the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, applying it under her eyes to brighten and on any blemishes to conceal them.

4. **Setting Powder:** She then uses Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder to ‘bake’ under the eyes, reducing the appearance of pores and ensuring concealer longevity.

5. **Bronzer and Blush:** Next, contour using Benefit Hoola Bronzer, adding warmth and definitions before applying Milani Rose Powder Blush to flushed cheeks.

6. **Highlighter:** To emphasize the glow, Lucy applies Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector along her cheekbones, bridge of the nose, cupids bow, and brow bones.

7. **Finishing Touches:** Lucy finishes the look with setting spray to melt everything together and provide an extra touch of dewiness.

### Key Tips and Advice

Lucy emphasizes the importance of prepping the skin before makeup application. A well-cleansed and moisturized face would naturally glow and make makeup application much easier. Also, consider using a damp sponge for foundation and concealer application, as it provides a more natural, seamless finish.

### Conclusion

In this tutorial, Lucy Ray underscores the power of glowing, fresh-looking skin that enhances one’s natural beauty. Her techniques promote the idea that less is more when it comes to makeup, transforming simple techniques into an easy-to-adopt routine for her viewers.

### Smooth and Engaging Flow

From prep to the final steps of this tutorial, Lucy smoothly combines techniques and product recommendations. She inspires viewers to find confidence in their beauty and learn to enhance it rather than cover it up.

Good tip is to use a MENS very matte moisturiser! Because mens moisturising lotions are more adhesive!
L'Oréal and Clarins do really good matte moisturising lotions! And use a very matte face powder! I'm not too fond of primer sprays but I had a Estee Lauder Face primer sample which was good!
Love the very matte look, friends ask me why my make up Lasts all day! Dark skin can get very shiny! UK 🇬🇧 8.4.24

I definitely feel like it really depends on your skin type. I struggled with wanting to wear makeup because of not being aware that it all depends on your skin type in order to keep your makeup flawless

Thank you so much ! I have oily skin and I do be wanting to enjoy wearing makeup but I can’t because it gets messy fast if I touch my face.
