Introduction

In the video, master makeup artist Zoe Sugg reveals her secret to her radiant everyday makeup look. This tutorial offers a step-by-step guide to achieving the same glowy and natural makeup Zoe wears effortlessly. It’s a must-see if you’re craving for some fresh, on-trend beauty inspiration.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Begin by priming your face, creating a smooth canvas for makeup application. Zoe advises using a hydrating primer to keep your skin looking fresh throughout the day.

2. The next step is foundation. Zoe opts for a lightweight, hydrating formula, applying a thin layer to create a natural-looking, radiant base.

3. Moving onto the eyes, use a soft, shimmery eyeshadow across your lids. Blend out the color using a fluffy brush for a seamless finish.

4. Apply a dark brown eyeshadow along the lash line to create soft definition. This step makes a huge difference and instantly elevates the look.

5. The next trick is to create the illusion of fuller brows using a brow pencil and gel. Zoe fills in any gaps with the pencil, then uses the gel to brush her brows upwards for added texture.

6. Apply a dusting of blush on the apples of your cheeks for a healthy glow. Zoe emphasizes the importance of using a light hand to ensure a natural flush.

7. Finish with a swipe of bright lip gloss for a juicy, kissable pout.

Key Tips and Advice

Zoe highlights the importance of skin prep, explaining that hydrating your skin is critical to obtaining the perfect dewy finish. Her distinctive technique of applying eyeshadow along the lash line is a game-changer. Remember to blend well for a soft, seamless look. Finally, don’t underestimate the power of a good brow – they frame your face and pull the entire look together.

Conclusion

Zoe’s core message is clear: natural beauty is about embracing your features and enhancing them subtly rather than transforming them completely. The video inspires viewers to explore the youthful, dewy makeup trend, expressing creativity and boosting confidence in their beauty routines.

So is the contour and highlighter your foundation as well? Or do you have to apply foundation before contour and highlighter?

That was very useful but I'm still trying to find out how to contour a small forehead to make it look bigger. People with large foreheads seem to be really upset about it, but when it is too small for the rest of your face it's still creates a very unflattering imbalance

Hello, geat video! New subscriber here and wannabe makeup artist since my preteen years and now pushing 50! I love contouring and highlighting but the last couple years have been running into a major conundrum. My jawline is wide and either very square or round, depending on my weight, so I'm always contouring to narrow it. I also have a "double chin" appearance so I do the contour under my jawline for that. My big issue I've been dealing with is my face seems to have some heaviness to it now, making my ENTIRE jawline from chin to ear seem so heavy (even starting to see jowls 😢). I put highlight on my chin but I feel like I need contour on the sides of my jaw, my jawline, and under my jaw, which also seems probably overboard but I don't know how to address all these issues! I do also apply a little highlighter in a diagonal upwards line a little above my jawline, where I wish my natural jawline would be, if that makes sense. Any advice would be SO appreciated!!! Thank you so much and looking forward to watching more videos 🙂

I've only just come across this video and I've never seen anyone explain and demonstrate as fantastically as you have. First of all, contouring scares the shit out of me I've never even used foundations or concealers in my life but I desperately need help in know how to use all these face products.. as you can see I have a big fat ugly hippo face with round face, medically called 'moon face' due to my steroids for autoimmune disease.. I'm so paranoid about how they've made my face blow up and given me the biggest double chin of my life! Thank you for sharing your expertise, I can't believe that you're self taught I love all your videos and watch at least a couple every day! I've learnt so much from you and purchased some of your favourite make up and skin care which like me, I know you take very seriously. You're so beautiful, please keep creating more how to's as for us clueless Morgans, you are invaluable.. lots of love, hope your kitty's are doing well! ❤❤❤🇬🇧

If you're an alien… you have no eyebrows, a really round face and more chins than a Chinese phone book… should you just skip contour all together ?? Or… ? I don't want to look weirder (than I already do) unless it's in a good way, of course.
