I've been doing my make up for a loooooong time and I dread to think how many hours of my life have been spent watching makeup tutorials but noone has ever made it click like you just have. I used to love doing eyeshadow and in the last few years have been unhappy with the results- my eye/lid shape has changed! This is the best and most in-depth tutorial on this technique for hooded eyes I've seen! Thank you for this. I've been hesitant to even play around with this since I have much less space on my good than you do, but as another commenter said, I can go old school 80s and take it higher to my brow. With glasses, it might even look good.

Question: I have very small, squinty eyes. I've always heard I shouldn't line or use eye shadow across my whole lower lash and should only do outer 1/3 or 1/2 at the most to not shrink my eyes, so I stopped years ago. True? False?
I haven't done a cut crease in so long. Last time I was doing one, my youngest 3 sons got into a fight and thought it was the UFC. Makeup session was immediately over, and I looked like an institutionalized patient for the rest of the day.
