Introduction:
If you are a make-up enthusiast looking for a fresh take on the classic smoky eye, then you are in the right place. The YouTube video we are dissecting here is none other than the captivating piece by the skilled make-up artist, Jane Doe. With this piece, you can anticipate an in-depth insight into the effortless technique she uses in crafting an enchanting smoky eye look, perfect for any occasion.

Step-by-Step Guide:
Jane begins with a clean, moisturized face, emphasizing the importance of a hydrated canvas for makeup application. She then applies a light, even layer of foundation using a damp beauty sponge, ensuring it’s evenly blended into the skin.

Moving on to the eyes, Jane applies a primer on her eyelids, guaranteeing a smooth surface for the eyeshadow. She then uses a soft blending brush to apply a matte taupe shadow into her crease, providing an depth and dimension to her eyes. She follows with a darker shade, focusing on the outer corners for added drama.

After the eyeshadow, she lines her eyes with a black gel eyeliner, ensuring she gets right into the lash line. She finishes this look with two coats of volumizing mascara and a set of false eyelashes to give her eyes that extra pop.

For the finishing touches, Jane applies a peachy blush to the apples of her cheeks and a natural-tone lipstick to her lips.

Key Tips and Advice:
Jane stresses the importance of blending in achieving a seamless smokey eye look. She advises using a clean blending brush and reminds users not to rush the process.

For those struggling with eyeliner application, Jane suggests practising the liner on a false eye or your hand first, to get the hang of it before transitioning to your eye.

Conclusion:
In this captivating tutorial, Jane illustrates that creating a stunning smokey eye does not have to be daunting. She empowers viewers with an understanding of blending techniques for a flawless finish. She also emphasises that practice is essential, and with time, one can perfect makeup application techniques.

Your older video uses eye patches and not eye cream bc eye cream can cause creasing and should be used for night, as i thought i heard you mentioned. Also mentioned you didn't like concealer to sit bc it was harder to blend/gets patchy. Sounds like we all have to go through a ton of trial and error to see what sticks uniquely for each of us. I've researched this topic heavily on & off since 2019 for a 2020 wedding I was in. Opinions & explanations varied then and still now & I still haven't found my ah-ha technique yet. I'm going to keep trying but this topic surely never gets too old in the makeup land.

Problem: You are already young and beautiful so you really don't have any major darks spots, wrinkles, crow feets, or sunken eyes. You have to use an older lady maybe about 50 yrs plus to use as an example. Thanks for sharing.

So glad I found you!!! One question tho: in winter I get like really yellowish-olive skin (bc of the lack of sun) while in the summer I get really tan and in spring I’m between 😭 so I really don’t know what colour corrector concealer I’d better use? Or do I need to buy different colours for different times…

I just subscribed to your channel and as a 49 year old black woman, I ve always had dark circles and did not know it was genetic, I tried to use lightening cream unsuccessful until I realized as much as I don't apply much make up to my face, my under eyes are dark and they've been bothering me, this video is the most complete and detailed I've ever seen and since my complexion is like yours I'm gonna follow this to the last detail and finally get even skin tone, Thank you so much🥰

Wow thank you so freaking much for being so instructive on how to apply correctly even down to letting concealer become tacky!!! Do you have a full foundation tutorial? I can never ever get my foundation to go on smoothly. It looks blotchy or something ever brand I use. And another thing those sponge things..I just don’t understand them & they hurt lol i hear people saying get it wet so it doubles in size…I’ve never had one that doubled in size like what are they talking about. Ughhh Your makeup looks beautiful!

Hii I have burnt scar under one of my eyes from my childhood . So one is really is dark and the other is fine. Darker than dark underye circles. Would you recommend the same things in the video or a color-corrector, and if so what type? Our skin tones are similar btw if that’ll help 😅

Can you even find a a brightening concealer that is 3 or 4 shades lighter if your skin tone is quite light? I can probably find 1 or 2 shades lighter but I'm not sure about 3 or 4. I don't use makeup but I would want to at least cover up my dark under eyes.
