Introduction:
In the thought-provoking YouTube video tutorial, London-based professional makeup artist Lisa Eldridge shares her expertise on creating the perfect “no makeup” makeup look. This minimalist, natural look, akin to simply having flawless skin, is achieved through a few strategic steps and the right tools. The look’s main selling point? Radiant, youthful skin that looks like you, only better.
Step-by-Step Guide:
The tutorial begins with Eldridge explaining the significance of prepping the skin. With rose-based moisturizing face oil, she massages her face. This not only hydrates the skin but also helps stimulate blood circulation to aid in natural glow.
Eldridge then dabs a lightweight foundation onto the central areas of her face, blending outwards using a foundation brush. This technique creates a subtle, natural-looking base, letting your natural skin shine through.
Next, Eldridge uses a concealer stick to cover any blemishes or red spots meticulously. For the under-eye area, she recommends applying concealer in the inner corners and under the lash line.
The artist then opts for a cream blush on the apple of her cheeks to create a healthy-looking glow. She enhances her eye features with a lash curler and few strokes of mascara on the upper lashes. To perfect the “no makeup” look, she touches up the brows with a tinted brow gel.
Finally, Eldridge uses a pat of lip balm on lips and a quick dusting of setting powder on the T-zone to set the look and maintain a natural finish.
Key Tips and Advice:
Eldridge emphasizes the importance of a good skincare routine before makeup application. She highlights the use of lighter, skin-like makeup products, subtly enhancing your features. Eldridge suggests using makeup tools like a foundation brush for a seamless blend, and a lash curler to awaken the eyes without hefty makeup.
Conclusion:
This tutorial evidences that the “no makeup” makeup look is less about the quantity of products used but more about their strategic application. The key is playing up your features using minimalistic measures, resulting in a fresh, radiant complexion that doesn’t look weighed down by heavy makeup.

Thank you smm for this video. Honey 🩷! You was amazing
You make it look soooo easy😭
Your video was so helpful! I’ve attempted individual lashes and I failed miserably. I’ll try again! Im going to try to put some glue on my lashes like you did – I didn’t think to try that! But I’m sorry I have a stupid question – when I tried to put them on, they looked like they were just hanging there and not actually on my lashes. Did I do that wrong, or do I just let it sit and get stuck then move it around? I feel so dumb with this but I’m new at it!
Does it go directly on your real lashes?.
I struggled so much it was hilarious I got these all over the place even on my cheek and upside down 😂 ooo it goes under?????😂
I have these same lashes and no they do not go on easily. They don't stick well and it's really hard to situat them before they fall off and not stick, I got so tired I gave up
You're Soo funny n Soo darling ❤❤❤❤ty for your help!
